Voted Best in the West in the 2024 Wine GB Awards, Woodchester Valley is among the top English Vineyards.
A single‑estate winery set in the stunning Stroud Valleys, Woodchester Valley produces award‑winning still and sparkling wines from vines planted across 58 acres of limestone and clay soils in the Cotswolds AONB.
Founded in 2007 by Fiona Shiner with just one trial acre, the estate now spans three sites all south‑facing, steep, and perfectly positioned for ripening high‑quality grapes.
The winery opened in 2016, bringing winemaker Jeremy Mount on board and giving the team full control from vineyard to bottle. Since then, Woodchester Valley has earned major acclaim, including World’s Best Sauvignon Blanc at the Global Masters in 2022 and joint Best English Blanc de Blancs at WineGB for its 2018 vintage.
Committed to responsible farming, the estate joined the Sustainable Wines of Great Britain scheme in 2022, focusing on environmental care, conservation and biodiversity.
